   (different from numbers)

- Program for Computers:

KID PIX (Art Program) for older students to use 
  to "paint letters". Add a picture of the coconut tree 
  that letters can be typed on and printed.* 

  
- Carry over to classroom project:  
   Students bring in items (beans, rice, etc) to make their
   own "Chickaboomers" from baby juice bottles.  Label bottles 
   with students' names written clearly.                
Chicka Boom out their names... "C told O and O told L....."  Coleen, Coleen, 
   will there be enough room?  Meet you at the top of the coconut tree!
Art:  green feathers, brown poms, brown paper bags
